Spooky Men’s Chorale

“ ….enthralling to watch. Spooktacular! ” – Bristol Post

Sunday 24 July, 2pm

The Spooky Men’s Chorale are the defacto archdeacons of low frequency vocal mayhem. One of the Blue Mountains’ most successful music exports, they have performed at festivals and concerts all over Australia and internationally, including six critically acclaimed tours of the UK.                                                                                              Described as “part monk, part visigoth, part village idiot”, but for their latest CD launch and concert they will be significantly biased towards the beautiful end of that spectrum. The CD “Warm” is a collection of sonorous bon-bons;  some original, some Georgian, some covers, and the kind of music you’d like to listen to in a sofa with slippers and a warm brandy. There will be generous smattering of the usual Spooky humour too, but more than anything this will be an afternoon at the theatre to “Warm” your heart and put a pleasant curl in your musical whisker – the perfect antidote for a chilly winter’s day!
