Glenn A Baker presents The Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazlewood Experience
starring Zoe Carides, Scott Holmes & The Nancy Boys
Friday 14 September, 8pm

Join us for another unforgettable night of entertainment when Glenn A. Baker once more graces our stage to host a presentation of the acclaimed Nancy Sinatra/Lee Hazlewood Experience.

Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood were pop’s weirdest duo, a beauty and the beast pairing, whose quirky success confounded the critics while creating some of 60s America’s most iconic pop.  Their iconic, eponymous 1968 album Nancy & Lee, rated as the 87th best album of the 1960s by Pitchfork, spawned some of the duo’s best songs and inspired generations of musicians.

Fresh from sell-out shows in Sydney and Melbourne, they’ll be running riot through their classic hits, including ‘These Boots Are Made for Walking’, ‘Jackson’, ‘Summer Wine’, ‘You Only Live Twice’, ‘Sugar Town’, ‘Lightning’s Girl’, ‘Something Stupid’, ‘Bang Bang’, ‘Up, Up & Away’, the trippy ‘Some Velvet Morning’ and more gems from the Nancy & Lee catalogue, as well as many more fabulous solos and duets.

Fronted by renowned stage, film and television actor Zoe Carides as Nancy, Scott Holmes as Lee and with former red Wiggle Murray Cook on bass, the Nancy Boys re-imagine the Sixties through the eyes of the iconic and culty Nancy & Lee.

Glenn A. Baker is renowned for his encyclopaedic knowledge of rock music. Described by Rolling Stone magazine Music Editor David Fricke, as: “Not just Australia’s top pop scholar but a world class rock journalist who writes with the enthusiasm of a true fan”. Glenn A. Baker is a three-time winner of the BBC’s Rock Brain of The Universe title and an author of 17 books.
