Their songs, harmony & message defined the term ‘folk rock’ & reflected the mood & social revolution of the era.
With record sales in excess of 70 million, & 10 Grammy Awards, they are arguably one of the greatest vocal duos of all time.
Simon & Garfunkel’s music remains timeless, etched in the memories of those they touched at the time, & the generations since who have discovered their songs. Their at times rocky personal relationship was seemingly at odds with their inspired musical partnership.
