The 70-strong Blue Mountains Orchestra presents its Spring Concert, “Stories through Music.”
The program will appeal to all ages, from the sublime Mozart Clarinet Concerto to the Fairy Garden of Ravel’s exquisite Mother Goose Suite, to Humperdinck’s telling of the story of Hansel and Gretel, to Victor Hugo’s timeless cry for liberation from oppression in Les Miserables, wonderfully translated to the musical stage by Claude-Michel Schonberg.
The orchestra will be joined by Blue Mountains-born clarinet virtuoso Alexei Dupressoir, four vocal soloists from Choir V and the 50-strong Faulconbridge Public School Senior Choir.
This concert is certain to be a sell-out event, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets: Adults $25, Children $15, Family $70.
