AAA Games: What Does It Mean?
If you’re a gamer, you’ve probably heard the term “AAA gaming” thrown around. But what does it mean? Is it just a fancy way of saying a game is really good? Well, not exactly. Imagine a few years before, when you are watching the trailer of a photorealistic graphics action game like “Call of Duty” or more like “Battlefield” and can’t wait for it to be played on your own. Mortal Kombat 1 is a reboot of sorts, but with a twist, as opposed to the first Mortal Kombat in 1992. This iconic fighting game franchise has garnered immense popularity for its intense battles, unique characters, and signature fatalities. With NetherRealm Studios’ expertise and Warner Bros’ publishing support, the first instalment laid the foundation for a long-running series that continues to captivate gamers with its visceral combat and engaging narratives. Fire God Liu Kang, who triumphed in Mortal Kombat 11, has resurrected the old Mortal Kombat universe. Not to forget about other important characters like Kitana, Johnny Cage, and Kano. Is this new world free of gore, bloodshed, firearms, and head-decapitating war scenes? Not exactly. Release Date: Autumn 2023
A sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man, one of the most successful PlayStation exclusives of one of the most popular superheroes, is a no-brainer. Following the success of the Miles Morales expansion, it’s only natural that you’ll be able to play as both Peter Parker and Miles’ versions of the web-slinger as they face off against new villains Kraven the Hunter and fan favourite Venom.
So yes, nothing more has been shown, but we’re hoping for a more unique twist on the open-world idea to go along with the already fantastic sense of swinging about the metropolis. With Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse hitting the theatre this year, it’s shaping up to be a fantastic year to be a Spider-Man.

The first EA game after the separation will be released on September 29, and EA has ambitious plans for the future of Sports FC, intending to recruit 1 billion worldwide gamers over the following five years. Instead, there are 19,000 fully licensed players, 700 teams, and 30 leagues to choose from.

05. Starfield
Release Date: September 6th
Starfield, Bethesda’s first big new open-world IP since The Elder Scrolls and Fallout, sounds massive in scale. It’s maybe not surprising, therefore, that the game was pushed back from its intended November 11 release date in 2022, perhaps to break the studio’s reputation for botched releases or prevent parallels to the contentious debut of another enormously ambitious space sim, No Man Sky.
However, while Starfield is set in space, where you can assemble your customized spacecraft to visit over 1,000 worlds across over 100 systems, it is still primarily an action RPG in which you can choose your alliances or fight space pirates in either first or third-person with a mix of shooter and melee combat.

08. Lies of P
Release Date: September 19
There have been several Pinocchio adaptations, yet the wooden child continues to influence new generations. His most recent work is Lies of P, which attempts to intensify an Italian folklore tale by darkening it further than it already is. You play as Pinocchio, or ‘P,’ who wakes up in a train station with a solitary letter beside them that reads ‘Find Mr. Geppetto. ‘He’s in town.’
Lies of P is set in an alternative Victorian age, and Pinocchio has a robotic arm that can be updated with new weaponry and robot killing tools. The gameplay appears to be influenced by Kingdom Hearts but with Sora relocated to revolution-era France. We only hope it lives up to the high expectations.
09. S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl
Release Date: Dec 2023
Heart of Chornobyl, the fourth game in the Stalker series from Ukrainian developer GSC Game World, will bring you back into the exclusion zone surrounding the famed nuclear power facility to survive, kill creatures, and battle strange radioactive anomalies. Who knows what the team has come up with to top the first game, which was launched in 2007, which included a hive-mind developed by seven connected scientists, so who knows what the team has come up with to top that.
Heart of Chornobyl is a first-person game based in a genuine open environment being created for Unreal Engine 5. It should look great since it will use cutting-edge graphics technology, such as ray tracing.
10. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Release: Fall 2023
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater sees the gloomy mercenary go full Rambo. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, is said to be a very faithful recreation of Hideo Kojima’s masterwork, but without his real involvement.
We don’t have any gameplay footage yet, simply a few cinematic shots. We don’t get much out of them, either. We observe jungle creatures being eaten, an anaconda (we believe) wrestling a crocodile (or alligator), and Solid Snake escaping from a marsh. However, if the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is anything like the original, it will be the strongest game in the series.
